This law office was remodeled to accommodate an expansion in personnel. As timing was critical, DTV Designs’ quick turnaround of the drawings and permit acquisition without a single review comment, allowed the project to finish on schedule.

Raintree Park: City of Vista                                                                  Completed in 2009

Worked with PCL Construction Services on a design-build project to upgrade an existing city park. The upgrade included a new soccer arena, upgrade of bathrooms to be A.D.A. compliant and a new 2nd floor concrete deck over existing stairs.

Father Joe’s Village – Mixed Use Project                                         Project Manager

Currently in the building construction stage, this 12 story, 100,000 sq. ft.  mixed use project will be the epitome of “mixed use”. Designed for Father Joe and located in east village of San Diego, the different uses combined in this one building will facilitate much needed programs within that area. The 1st three floors combine storage for the full service kitchen located next door (Father Joe feeds 2000 people three times a day through this facility) with day care / pre-school and after school programs. Floors 4 thru 8 are for transitional housing,  which is part of Father Joe’s fresh start program. Floors 9 thru 12 are dedicated to affordable homes, with the roof top terrace consisting of 3 visitor’s apartments.

Currently in the permitting stage with the county of San Diego, this multi-building complex will help abused or neglected children become contributing members of society. This program goes beyond “band-aid” approaches, it will help reconcile families and prepare young people for independent living through concrete, hands-on, effective strategies. Facilities will include 25 homes (each housing 8 children and will include 4 bedrooms, dining room, living room and a recreation room), a school, a chapel, medical clinic and sports facilities / recreational areas.

Cal Poly University –Architectural Building             Construction Administration

Finished in 2008, the new 75,000 sq. ft., 3 building complex known as the Center of Construction Excellence is a facility which will facilitate human growth and a creative environment. The Center of Construction Excellence will assist in the learning of the practices of architecture, engineering and construction management. The project will be located in the southwest corner of the campus and will serve as a gateway for these entering the campus from the south.

San Diego State University Aquaplex                            Construction Administration

A new Aquaplex includes an Olympic style 50 meter competition pool for the intercollegiate swim team, a 7,000 sq. ft. recreational pool and a hydrotherapy spa. The Aztec Aquaplex also includes a 4,850 sq. ft. building to accommodate showers, locker rooms, administrative offices and support facilities. A meeting room is located below 5,900 sq. ft. of canopy that shelters spectator seating for 500 and supports a large solar panel system used to augment the heating of the competition pool.

Coronado High School                                                                             Project Manager

Completed – 7 different phases completed from 2003 thru 2007 at different times.

A 169,000 s.f., 7 building complex throughout 7 different phases for the Coronado Unified School District. Building programs included a 500 seat theater with automated fly rigging, library, district kitchen, extensive wood and ceramic shops, 40 classrooms, science labs, state of the art multi-media labs, computer labs, administrative offices and a new quad area.

Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center             Project Architect

A 160,000 s.f., 5 building complex. for the Salvation Army which includes a 600 seat theater with full fly loft and orchestra pit, library, performing and visual art center, ice rink, gymnasium, aquatic center (an Olympic size pool, swimming lesson pool, and water aerobic Jacuzzi), sports field, day care center, indoor skate board park and 3 full kitchens.

Santiago de Compostela Parish Hall                                                  Architect

A 14,000 s.f. multi-purpose hall addition to an existing church campus. The project allowed flexible meeting spaces for 10 classrooms or a music performance for 500. Project included a full service kitchen and administrative spaces.

St. Ignatius College Preparatory School                                          Drafter

Completed  1993                                                                                                                             San Francisco, Ca

 

Several additions to the existing Preparatory school included new science labs, a ‘black box’ theater as well as an athletic facility encompassing a practice field, gymnasium and an indoor competition pool.
